The Adjustable Rotary Gang Saws Process the Cants Created at the Headrig The rotary gang saw takes the two-sided cant from the headrigs and boxes the heartwood, separating out the low-grade wood into a mini cant. Mini-cant is later used for pallet material and also taking high-grade furniture wood off of the sides. All lumber is then hand-sorted and distributed to either the board edger or trimsaws.
