MAPLE SKIP NUMBER 1 OR BETTER grade is a high-grade board selected for clear two-face and clear one-face applications.  The clear two-face cuttings are ideal for panel production, cabinetry, and furniture.  The clear one-face cuttings are well suited for case good fronts and tops, and cabinetry requiring only one clear face.  This grade consist of boards that will grade as Number 1 Shop or better Select when re-dressed 1/8 inch. Widths: 3-3/8 inch (85.73 mm) minimum. Lengths: 72 inch (182.88 cm) minimum. Minimum Size Cuttings: 4 inch (101.60 mm) wide by 24 inch (60.96 cm) and longer and 3 inch (76.20 mm) wide by 36 inch (91.44 cm) and longer clear one-face cuttings or better. Overall Minimum Yield: 66-2/3 percent.
