Automated Board Edging uses Recovery Data from the Scanner to get the Best Edge Cuts Each scanned board is automatically fed into our digitally controlled Salem edger to produce edged boards with the maximum amount of useable wood. We now have a board with the long edges finished. Trimming the board to the correct length is the next step.
