CJB  CUSTOM JACKET BOARD Unit Availability: 8’3” in solid packed units available in 4/4.  8’3” units with trimbacks developing available in 4/4, 5/4, & 8/4. 4/4 12’ available.  CJB is a top of the line, high yield narrow Superior product, maximizing clear one face cuttings, well suited for use in door frame, panel, cabinet and, molding applications. Widths: 3.5 inches (88.90 mm) to 4.5 inches (114.30mm). With up to 5 percent narrows by volume. Lengths: Length: 72 inch (182.88 cm) minimum. Minimum Size Cuttings:  Minimum cutting 3 inch (76.20 mm)  by 36 inch (91.44 cm). No Limit to the number of cuttings allowed. Grade Notes: This grade admits all boards of 24 inches (60.96 cm) and over, surface measure yielding not less than 83 1/3 percent with high end JB1 back cuttings. WANE is limited to 8.33 percent the surface measure of the board on the Best face. Wane may be divided, showing on both board edges. The aggregate inches of PITH length, will not exceed 2 times the surface feet of the board. The aggregate inches of split length, as defined in "SPLIT", will not exceed 2 times the surface feet of the board. Splits diverging more than 1 inch (25.40 mm) per 12 inches (30.48 cm) in length, are not admitted, except when 12 inches (30.48 cm) or shorter and within one lineal foot from the end of the board, leaving at least 50 percent clear wood and not less than 25 percent sound wood in aggregate. SIDE BEND is limited to 0.5 inch (12.70 mm). PIN KNOTS are not considered defect.
